Successful Diamond Technologists
Andrew Cameron recently attended a graduation function at the Gemmological Association of Australia. This was to mark his successful completion of a Diploma in Diamond Technology. Well done to Andrew who had to travel to Melbourne on a regular basis to complete this study.

Nathan Cameron Award 2014
Every two years apprentices in fifty different fields compete in World Skills Australia, for the honour of competing in their field on a world stage. This years winner of the most outstanding competitor in the World Skills country Victorian team for 2014 went to Amy Kennedy. In honour of Nathan Cameron, a World Skills competitor in 2010 the beautiful perpetual trophy was awarded to Amy. The trophy was made by a World Skills gold medallist, a fitter and joiner and hand engraved.

Antwerp Diamond Marketing Award
Andrew and Judy were presented with an Antwerp Diamond Marketing Award in June 2014. This award was presented to only 11 Australians and 3 New Zealand Nationwide members for their significant number of diamond sales in previous Antwerp buying trips. Eddy Katz, one of Antwerp's leading diamontaires travelled from Belgium to present this award to these honoured recipients.

David is a regular speaker at the JCK shows in the USA as well as every IJO Buying Group meeting. David is the author of the original repair book used and trusted by American jewellers. As a 14th generation family jeweller he knows the challenges jewellers face and happily shared his remedies. It was an honour to meet David & Remie and for Andrew & Judy to share some one on one time with them.

The Nathan Cameron perpetual trophy for manufacturing jewellers apprentice of the year was hand made out of wood and sterling silver. Andrew, Judy, Nic and Taylor are so honoured with this annual award, in the memory of their son and brother, Nathan Cameron.
